Private Photo Workshops

There are those who prefer the extra attention that only a private digital photo workshop can offer. Barefoot Contessa Photo Adventures specializes in personal workshops tailored to your needs and to those of your fellow photographers if you come in a small group. We will show you how to strengthen your eye and learn about the magic of light. Depending upon your budget, these private workshops can be two, three, five, or seven days long; it is up to you. You can decide where you want to go to improve your photography skills.

Before the workshop, Barefoot Contessa Photo Adventures will guide you in appropriate directions for accommodations and transportation. We will send you a shopping list of small-but-critical workshop materials, review some of your images, and help you establish realistic goals before your arrival; and, we will recommend some items to pack to make your life more comfortable. There is nothing worse than packing too much or bringing the wrong items. You need to be comfortable, so that you can put all your concentration into your photography.

You will meet the first evening for your initial classroom session. This will help Barefoot Contessa Photo Adventures determine the order of your assignments.  One of the advantages of a private photo workshop is that the initially-set curriculum can change on a day-to-day basis; however, some things remain constant. After all, we want you to complete your private workshop a better photographer.

Not only can we show you special places to create your images/photographs based both on your interests and focal areas for improving your photography, we will work with you each day, showing you new techniques and gently pushing you to try new things and look at subjects in new ways. To that end, you will be given daily assignments. We will also discuss digital work flow, using such programs as Photoshop CS3 (Element users, too), Bridge, and Lightroom to better process your new images.

To see more work from Margo and her husband/partner, Arnie, go to Zann and Pinkerton Photography (enable pop-up windows).
