Join our photography workshop in Andalucia, a magnificent
part of Spain. With its famous pueblos blancos (white villages) cascading down
steep hillsides, cobblestone streets, cork forests, the birthplace of modern
bullfighting, and flamenco dancing, one cannot go wrong photographically. We'll
even have the full moon! We will be based in Ronda, an historic city whose
old section is perched on the edge of El Tajo, the spectacular, deep gorge
running through the city.
There are amazing views from the escarpments, one of the best examples of Arab baths, a beautiful palace/museum, the gorgeous gorge, and great places to explore. The food, tapas bars, and wine/sherry are terrific, the people warm and friendly, and the towns nearby great to visit, from the famed Alhambra in Granada, to the little pueblo blanco of Grazalema just over the border in Cadiz and self-billed as the horse blanket capital of the world.
We'll be in Andalucia at one of the best times of year for weather. You'll make great photographs and celebrate your passion for photography, hone your seeing
and imaging skills, and learn about the magic of light to make stunning photographs.

Margo's love of languages helps. While she is not as fluent in Spanish as she is in French, she can get along just fine, so you don't even have to worry about speaking the language, although a "per favor" or "gracias" is always appreciated!
We start out with some technical information before heading out for our first afternoon of photography. Our workshops include the following:
