Join our special, alumni-only, five-day photography workshop in the incomparable
Yosemite National Park, one of the jewels of the west.
Yosemite, quite simply, is astounding. Half Dome and El Capitan stand sentinel
over the snow-dusted valley. A lone coyote trots across, leaving delicate
footprints. Above, the big trees beckon, their rich, reddish hues contrasting
with the pure white of snow. While we cannot guarantee snow, it is common
anytime from November on.
There is so much to photograph here, from the impressive rock
formations, to intimate woodland scenes, to reflections along
the Merced River.
You'll be able
to celebrate your passion for photography, hone your seeing and imaging skills,
and learn about the magic of light to make wonderful photographs.
This workshop is only open to alumni, but note that newcomers become
alumni once they sign up for another 2010 workshop with us. There
is already a lot of interest, so places may go quickly.
Scouting Option:
For those who want more time with Margo and Arnie, we offer the opportunity to scout and shoot with them before most of our domestic workshops. We limit this to two people per day who ride in the car with the instructors. During these days, there is lots of one-to-one instruciton while Arnie and Margo do their own photography and final scouting for the workshop.
Some of our participants like to come in a day ahead and get some added instruction on Lightroom. Contact us for details.
