New Orleans 2015, 02

Again, not much time for writing, but here are a few shots from today.

Early morning saw us in Vieux Carré, literally, Old Quarter in French. We were in one of the older neighborhoods with charmingly painted cottages in pretty pastels. I have always loved these antique shutter dogs.© 2015 Margo Taussig Pinkerton. All Rights Reserved. From Barefoot Contessa Photo Adventures. New Orleans is known for the occult, voodoo, and other-wordly practices. I thought this window typified part of that aspect of the city.© 2015 Margo Taussig Pinkerton. All Rights Reserved. As some of us were walking back from an afternoon, early evening of photographing, I saw this doorway that spoke to me of NOLA.© 2015 Margo Taussig Pinkerton. All Rights Reserved. And finally, well, New Orleans has always had enticing ladies luring people into inner sanctums. What more can I say?© 2015 Margo Taussig Pinkerton. All Rights Reserved. We gathered at a round table for dinner at a terrific restaurant just down the street from our hotel. There was lots of laughter, some good conversation, and a great meal … an excellent way to end the day.

Today’s health tally? 9,801 steps or 4.01 miles. We stuck to a smaller area today, but a photographically productive one.
