Day Four for me seemed to be a lot about patterns. While Arnie was splendidly capturing the tacky and tawdry aspects of New Orleans, I was definitely going in for patterns.
The lace and drape of curtains the lamp within.
An early-morning jogger floating above the cobbled riverside path.
A simple abstract (care to guess?)
Line, form, and shadow in a cemetery.
The evening glow coming through the window over what may originally have been a carriage-house door.
Fire and “ice” arches in a fountain.
Everyone was enjoying this amazing city with all the photographic fodder it has to offer. And the NOLA Sisterhood, as the four ladies in the group dubbed ourselves, were having a blast!
Alas, the Heart Healthy app does not allow me to go back a day or two (silly app), but suffice it to say we walked a LOT!
Next: Day 05, our last one in NOLA for this visit …
