Join BCPA's photo workshop in the gorgeous Rockies of Colorado with dramatic scenery, vibrant fall Aspens and Cottonwoods, and ghost towns that harken back to a bygone era. People travel to this part of the country to take in the beautiful yellows of the trees against clear-blue skies and explore old log buildings of and vibrant mountain pastures.

There is a lot of wild land around here, and TBC will take you to different valleys that she loves, including one with a rare grove of Red Aspens carpeted with ferns in their copper fall foliage.

There are backlit streams and rivers, mountains with vestiges of last year's snow falls, old wooden buildings, and plenty to whet your photographic eye. Here, you'll be able to celebrate your passion for photography, hone your seeing and imaging skills, and learn about the magic of light to make wonderful photographs.

With family in this area, I have photographed extensively here and look forward to sharing it with you.

The workshop will be based on the other side of the mountains from Aspen and Snowmass. In fact, you will see the back side of the famed Maroon Bells without all the swarms of people.

Our non-smoking hotel backs onto a quiet section of historic Crested Butte with its many, gaily-painted buildings, wonderful restaurants, and cafés galore. This is a popular time of year when the Aspens and Cottonwoods are showing their prettiest colors, so it's best to book early! You can always cancel later. In fact, the longer you wait, the mor expensive the rooms may be as demand gets close to exceeding supply!

Meanwhile, be sure to carefully read our FAQs, as well as the various links in the box below. They should hopefully answer almost any question you might have.

Fees:  Standard $2,280 | Alumni $1,940 | Association $2,052 | Early-bird Special @ Association rate but by check (see parameters)
