These will continue for the foreseeable future, probably quarterly. Previous ones have been sold out.

BCPA has been running online workshops since the end of April 2020 so people can stay comfortably at or close to home while giving those creative juices a jump start. It has been a joy watching participants grow with the support, encouragement, and honesty of both their fellow students and me.

- Participants take chances, step outside their comfort levels, and make images they did not know were possible. There is a reason they keep returning ... "It made us think outside the box and learn some new techniques ... Your classes, like your workshops, are always fun, interesting and very educational. I also enjoyed the discussions and hearing about other famous photographers. This is a great class to take for your photography when you don't want to travel far from home."

In addition to the assignments, there are discussions on photography designed to expand your knowledge of the art world with a view to adding to your arsenal of references to strengthen your own images.
The critiques are run just as they are in any normal workshop, with everyone participating and Margo weighing in at the end. The assignments are the same for everyone, so give it your best shot, so to speak, and develop/edit it to the best of your ability.

Those who sign up will get a detailed message outlining the workshop parameters and other pertinent information, including your Zoom link for the workshop. And no, you do not need a Zoom account to make this work!
Meanwhile, the BCPA philosophy remains the same online as it does in person:
- Photography is an art form, worthy of museums and top galleries worldwide;
- Aesthetics win out over techno-speak;"
- Travel light and inconspicuously (yes, even in your own back yard);
- Take time to savor what is offered;
- Be adaptable, a necessity, given that Mother Nature has a mind of her own!; and
- Remember, sometimes a subject is worthy of memory pixels, not camera pixels;
- Have FUN while pushing yourself to the next level in your photographic journey!
- In other words, take your photography seriously, not yourself!
