Scout & Shoot with Margo & Arnie | Before Many Workshops by Appointment
We always encourage people to join us for one of our regularly-scheduled workshops, not only to save money but to take advantage of the camaraderie and input of fellow participants. That said, there are some who really like that one-on-one time with Arnie and Margo before a workshop. While it is Margo and Arnie's time to shoot for themselves, they love to share what they are doing, talk about the philosophy of their approach to photography, discuss various photographers worth studying, give practical hints for effective scouting, and, of course, help their guests for the day.
The scout-and-shoot option is generally the day before a workshop and is limited to only two people attending that particular workshop. The guests ride in Arnie and Margo's CLICK (license plate) car and continue discussions, ask questions, and generally have a great time.
We start after breakfast and are out for the day doing final scouting for the workshop. Construction goes on, roads get closed, and our local friends may give us a lead worth pursuing for a new-to-us location. We stop for lunch, then continue scouting through the afternoon. Generally, we end up dining together. Our scout-and-shoot guests pay for their own meals.
We have even had several scout-and-shoot participants win prizes and/or get juried into exhibitions with images they have made during these scouting days!
Meanwhile, be sure to carefully read our FAQs, as well as the various links in the box above. They should hopefully answer almost any question you might have.
